SHARING THE EXPERIENCE SIDE BY SIDE WITH SOME OF THE BEST
PRO TOUR RIDERS PRESENT IN VOLTA AO ALGARVE.
From the 15th to the 19th of February 2023 in partnership with Volta ao Algarve
Participants will be accommodated in the same hotel groups as some of the Pro Tour teams present in the Volta ao Algarve peloton
Starting on Thursday and ending on Saturday, with the possibility of participating in the Algarve Granfondo on Sunday.
Designed on flatter and mountain roads, the stages have distances between 90 and 120 km and an elevation gain between 1000 and 1200 m
VOLTA AO ALGARVE
Each year, Volta ao Algarve marks the world cycling calendar, as one of the first stage events held in Europe. The good weather and the 5 challenging stages with balanced profiles between the mountain and the flatter roads attract the Continental and the World Pro Tour main teams and cyclists to this professional competition.
Fabian Cancelara, Alberto Contador, Tom Boonen, Gerainth Thomas, Vicenzo Nibali, Alexander Kristoff, Daniel Martin, Michal Kwiatkowski, Rohan Dennis, Philippe Gilbert, Tadej Pogacar and Remco Evenepoel are some of the cyclists in Tour of Algarve the last editions Wall of Fame.
The less stress experienced by riders and teams at the beginning of the season, and a portuguese way of welcoming provide Volta ao Algarve with a very special spirit and a friendly ambiance that enable a proximity to cyclists hard to experience on another occasion throughout the year.
THE CHALLENGE
The Ride Across Portugal concept, was adapted on Ride Across Algarve to discover some of the best Algarve sceneries.
Challenge stages, with timed sections and pit stops, designed on quiet roads surrounded by beautiful landscapes.
The perfect mix between sport, and local culture and gastronomy.

THE PRO TOUR EXPERIENCE
Ride Across Algarve is Volta ao Algarve's Organisation Official Partner. This partnership allows to share some of the most important spaces and moments with the Pro Tour and Continental main teams participating in Volta ao Algarve pro competition.
Staying in the same hotels as some of the main teams, and sharing each Ride Across Algarve stage with part of the Volta ao Algarve stages, including the start or finish areas will offer each Ride Across Algarve's participant an exclusive experience.
